I hope everyone is well today. Prayers to all  who may  be affected by Hurricane Sandy today. We had a cold front meet her as she passed by our coast, as a result it is very cool and wet today here in NC.

We had a Wedding Anniversary earlier this month, This is the cake I baked to celebrate.

These crystal mushrooms are inspired by a Pinterest pic I saw.

I found the instructions for this pumpkin made from a book on Pinterest also.

A Visit to the NC State Fair

 Hello Friends!Thanks so much to all who left the wonderful Birthday Greetings last week. This week I have some pics from my visit to the North Carolina State Fair! I love the fair & I hope you enjoy visiting via these photos!

This was the 2012 Fair theme.

The Dorton arena , where all the concerts are held for Fair enterainment.

All the decorations in this pic are all natural and produced in North Carolina.

This beautiful tree was decorated mostly with various squash , all grown in NC. I had to take a double look at this tree ,at first I thought it had regular ornaments .

 The Waterfall Wall, a great meeting- up spot for families.

 

The leaves here have gotten underway changing. Most all of NC has beautiful fall color , but our mountains are famous for it.

My Birthday & a Pumpkin Farm Visit

Hello Friends,

My Birthday was last week, My oldest granddaughter Jasmine, made me this big cookie to celebrate!

I also went to a Pumpkin Farm last week;Going to he pumpkin farm was a nice way to enjoy Autumn.

The farm is located in this small town.
