SPIRITUAL SUNDAY

"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!"
Mark 1:15

Christmas Prayer By John Leax

Let the snow fall this night
and cover our sins
against the world

Let the scars of our restless flight
from nothing to nowhere
be iced and closed

Let the wires of our false security
be weighted to breaking
and the lamps of our burning earth
be darkened

Let nothing remain
in the emptiness of our hearts
but the dark of need

In that dark
let one star shine

And grant us grace to spring
in the quickening light
it angles at creation

*********************************************

I love this poem. Until God (through his Holy Spirit )reveals to us our desperate situation , we will never need Jesus .
If we never know our need for Him , we will never want Him.
If we never want Him, we will never ask Him to come into our hearts .If we never ask Him, without Jesus we will remain forever lost .

Praise and Thanks to Jesus (Mighty God and Creator of the Universe ) for coming to Earth in the form of a human child to save us all!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah !
