Hi Friends,
We finally got a little snow last week. Enough to cover the ground for a day, then it melted. Now, we are entering into much colder weather as a Arctic front is approaching by midnight tonight.
I will start off with some Snowman Tea Party pics.
Featuring my bird loving snowman I made from a kit about 12 years ago.His body is a 2 liter soda bottle.
Cute snowman cups
My granddaughter & I made iced gingerbread snowmen.
We drank Candy Cane green tea , a Christmas gift from my daughter.
A pic of my younger granddaughters snowman from a couple of years ago.
Pic of the snow falling at night last week.
Frosty was waiting for the snow. Ha Ha
Sunrise on snow in front yard.
Orange terracotta snow covered angel
I made a little snowman
Here are some other colorful things I found around the house. Princess Celestia from My Little Pony Cartoon, I love to watch with my granddaughter
Sweet little Sunflower bear , I found at the Good Will.
Beautiful & equally fragrant Pink Hycinth, gift from my thoughtful daughter.
For awareness of the Sanctity of Human Life , I added the snowflakes to my banner for a memorial to the unborn as each baby is unique as a snowflake. This week is Sanctity of Human Life Week.
I will leave you with this wonderful Bible verse.
" I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.My frame was not hidden from you when I was formed in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139 :14-17

How wonderfully sweet this post is! It is very calming, too. I almost went into a deep trance admiring all of your snowman things and your snow, your yard, your angel and again, what a perfect Bible verse! You are a one of a kind woman! I don't know how I found your blog...was it a meme?....but I am super glad I did. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are making special memories with your granddaughter, Myrna.

Happy Blue Monday!
Happy for you that you had dusting of snow. In my part of the world, Nara, it hasn’t snowed yet although it’s been so cold that we are chilled to the bone. Your home is really enchanted, all these snow-related things would make snow days more pleasant. Stay warm and enjoy your winter.
