SPIRITUAL SUNDAY & Merry Christmas To All My Blogland Friends

I am adding this Christmas Greeting to Spiritual Sunday .To visit our wonderful Host & to be blessed by others click HERE .

For God so loved world that he gave his one & only Son, that who so ever believes in him should not perish but have Eternal Life . --John 3:16

Jesus Christ , the God of Eternity came down to dwell with Ordinary Humanity . He came to reconcile us back to Himself by paying the penalty for our sins .Sins which separate us from a Holy God.
The Birth of Christ, His Death , Resurrection & Ascension are all events that have shaped our world ,they effect Past , Present & Future .
Your response to these events will definitely affect your personal present & future .Please ask yourself this question, (if Jesus is not your Savior )
Do I want to enter into Eternity without knowing & trusting the God of Eternity ? Do not let another second go by without asking Him to come into your heart to live .I f you do ,here in the present you will have Joy & Peace in your Life, In your Future Heaven will be your Home .
--Myrna

Here is a wonderful poem by Calvin Miller :

No Shot Was Ever Heard

No shot was ever heard around the world .
In fact of all human history
Only two sounds have been heard around the entire world .
The first :
A newborn baby’s cry saying “ It is begun. “
The second :
A young man’s dying cry, saying ,
“It is finished “.

Merry Christmas & A Very Blessed New Year !!!!!!!!!

SPIRITUAL SUNDAY

To visit our wonderful host & be blessed by others go HERE.

To continue Celebrating the Birth of my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ ,I offer a poem written by Luci Shaw that I love .But I have a disclaimer , I love Nativities & Creches; In this poem she is signaling in on the narrow view the world has of Jesus& making the point that he is much more than the image of the baby in the manager . I also have Casting Crowns singing a beautiful rendition of" O come all Ye Faithful ".

I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me
.
John 14:6

It is as if infancy were the whole of incarnation by Luci Shaw

One time of the year the new -born child is everywhere, planted in madonnas' arms, hay mows, stables in palaces or farms,or quaintly, under snowed gables, gothic angular or baroque plump, naked or elaborately swathed, encircled by Della Robbia wreaths, garnished with whimsical partridges and pears, drummers and drums ,lit by oversize stars ,partnered with lambs, peace doves, sugar plums, bells, plastic camels in sets of three as if these were what we need for eternity.

But Jesus the Man is not to be seen.
We are to be wary these days, of beards and sandalled feet.
Yet, if we celebrate let it be that He has invaded our lives with purpose, striding over our picturesque traditions, our shallow sentiment, overturning our cash registers, wielding His peace like a sword, rescuing us into reality, demanding much more than the milk and the softness and
the mother warmth of the baby in the storefront creche,
(Only the Man would ask All, of each of us )reaching out always, urgently, with strong effective love (Only the Man would give His life and live again for love of us).

Oh come , let us adore Him-Christ-the Lord.

I wish you the Merriest of Christmases !!!!!!!!!!
Love in Christ ,
Myrna Lee

THEN SINGS MY SOUL SATURDAY

For other wonderful songs click HERE and be Blessed !

This is my favorite Christmas Hymn. This is an arrangement different than we are accustomed to , sung by Sixpence None The Richer ,from the City on the Hill Christmas Album.

o holy night! the stars are brightly shining
it´s the night of the dear Savior´s birth
long lay the world in sin & error pining
until he appeared, & the soul felt its worth
a thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
for yonder breaks a new & glorious morn
fall on your knees; o, hear the angels voices!
o night divine, o night when Christ was born!
o night, divine; o night, o night divine

truly he taught us to love one another
His law is love, & his gospel is peace
chains shall he break, for the slave is our brother
and in His name all oppression shall cease
sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we
let every heart adore His holy name
Christ is the Lord, oh, praise His name forever
His power & glory ever more proclaim!
His power & glory ever more proclaim!

Yes, This weary world still rejoices ! Christ is the Lord ! Oh, Praise His name Forever !
Merry Christmas !

Bzzagent review of L'OrĂ©al® Paris Revitalift® Deep-Set Wrinkle 24HR Eye Repair Duo

I am a Bzzagent .I received a free sample of L'OrĂ©al® Paris Revitalift® Deep-Set Wrinkle 24HR Eye Repair Duo. It is two eye creams in one , the Am is for day wear. It repairs & corrects with Pro-Retinol A, a special form of Vitamin A, which revitalizes and smoothes your skin while you go about your day. And to protect your skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays, AM Repair + Protect has SPF 15 sunscreen.
The PM is for night & it works throughout the night to increase your skins elasticity and tone. In addition to Pro-Retinol A, PM Repair + Restore also has Fiber-Restoring Complex. One of its patented ingredients that stimulates the production of elastin*, which helps increase your skin's firmness.
Some facts you might like to know about the product are :
  • First 24-hour Revitalift® skincare treatment specifically designed to provide around-the-clock intensive anti-wrinkle repair around the eyes
  • Fragrance Free
  • Ophthalmologist tested
  • Safe for contact lens wearers
  • Dermatologist tested for gentleness
  • Non-greasy
  • Absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving it sticky or greasy
  • Is designed to be used prior to applying make-up so make-up goes on smoothly and evenly
  • Suggested retail price of $19.99
I think there has been some improvement in the area around my eyes since I started using this product. I started late in the campaign , so I have only been using it for 4 weeks . I will continue using it .I recommend trying it ,it 's always great to find something to help with the appearance of my skin & to fight the effects of time .It is s available at most food, drug and mass retailers, like CVS/pharmacy, Walgreens, RiteAid, Target and Wal-mart.

SPIRITUAL SUNDAY

To continue Celebrating of the Birth of my Lord, Jesus , today I have a wonderful poem by Luci Shaw and a beautiful song by Third Day.
The focus of both is: How will we respond to this
glorious thing that God has done for us ? To join others for more Blessings ,visit our host HERE.

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7

Across the purple-patterned snow by Luci Shaw

Across the purple-patterned snow
laced with light of lantern glow ,dappled with dark,
comes Christ, the Child born from the skies .
Those are stars that are his eyes.
His baby face is wise seen by my candle spark.
But he is cold from the wind's cold blow? Where will he go?
I'll wrap him warm with love ,well as I'm able
in my heart stable !

This is the question for all mankind ,
How will you respond to this Christ Child ?
He stands at your door and knocks , will he find room there ?
Will you make your heart His Home ?
Yes, Jesus ! How we thank you that you're come !

In Celebration of His Wonderful Birth,
Merry Christmas !

THEN SINGS MY SOUL SATURDAY

Today to Celebrate the birth of my Lord Jesus , I have Child of Love ,by Sara Groves. The song is written from the perspective of Mary , Jesus' mother. To visit our host & be blessed by other songs click HERE.

Child of wonder, close Your eyes
Rest here in my arms tonight
Someday You will save the world
But tonight I'll hold You, right here in my arms

Precious miracle of life, child of love
Gift of hope, the gift of light
From the Father above
And You were made for all mankind
But You will always be mine, child of love

Gabriel's promise has come true
God has blessed this world with You
And as I humbly hold You now
In my heart I know I'm holding heaven's child

Precious miracle of life, child of love
Gift of hope, the gift of light
From the Father above
And You were made for all mankind
But You will always be mine, child of love

Precious miracle of life, child of love
Gift of hope, the gift of light
From the Father above
And You were made for all mankind
But You will always be mine, child of love

Child of wonder, close Your eyes...

Thanks for stopping by and listening to this great song ,
I wish you a very Blessed Day !

OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY

Welcome to my Outdoor Wednesday Post. Click HERE to visit our Host & other outdoor posts.

My granddaughter and I decided we would go the mall and see what Santa was up to.
The first thing we saw was a beautiful enchanted forest, but no Santa.

Next, we came to a wonderful Storybook Land .

We searched all around it , We saw his picture in the books, but still no Santa.
We asked Frosty at the train , but he hadn't seen him today .

We searched at the Carousel , but he wasn't there either.
Finally, back at the enchanted forest , We found where he usually hangs out.
We found out why we couldn't find him. He was busy with Rudolph & the other reindeer.

So, we did the next best thing & went to Macy's& mailed him a letter .

I think we sent the Believe Meter up about 20 points .

Thanks for coming along on my Santa Search on this Outdoor Wednesday . I appreciate your visit and your comment .;~)
Merry Christmas !
