Memorial Day & Beach Pics

Hello Blogging Friends!Happy Memorial Day! 

This is the day we remember and celebrate the lives of those who have sacrificed for our freedom.The day , we remember that freedom isn't free, it costs dearly .

Today I will also share some Beach Pics of my recent visit to Emerald Isle , NC.We stayed at a beach front cottage called

Although , it was overcast at times ,it never rained until, the afternoon we left to come home.

A Birthday & Museum Visit

Hi Blogging Friends,
I hope your life is good today ,if not, I pray that things get better soon. Here at" My Enchanted Home", as you know it is mostly about photo journaling my life .So I tend to be long on pics and short on commentary. But  I  always  want you know how much I value and appreciate all who visit here.


 Today I have pics from my daughter, Angel's  35th birthday.  She is a vegetarian and very much into organic  square foot gardening , so thus the party theme of gardening .

For her day , we joined  Angel & family for an afternoon at the new wing of the NC Science Musuem, It is " The Nature Research Center"

I love the contrast of light& dark here. I looked up while waiting on the Nature Center Porch ,this is a pic of porch skylight while it was raining.

After the museum visit, we went to eat at Chipotle, Angel's favorite restaurant. It started raining before we left the museum.

A Wish for Mother's Day

Here are some bouquet pics  for all the blogging Moms , I hope your day was wonderful  and all your wishes came true!

Next, I  have some belated Thank-yous.

Next , Thank you to my Family for my marvelous Mother's day Gifts .I love flowers & the garden .  I love this solar lighted wind spiral  garden ornament !

And this beautiful orchid. I hope it stays as beautiful ,I have never grown  one before ,only admired them while shopping .If you know anything about their care , please share.

& This Thomas Kinkade framed print "Dorothy  Discovers Oz" . My pic is not good , It has so many reflection & glares .

So, I added this , so you can actually see it .

Next I  have my late post of my First of the Month pics . I took them at the first of May,  but have procrastinated in posting  :(  I opted for an inside pic ,of my monthly table decor & an outside pic of the seasonal changes in my front yard . The idea is to take  a pic of the same thing at the first of each month , to show how thing are different or maybe  staying the same.
