Here is a coffee filter wreath I made with some red in the middle ,which is not very noticeable, because I whitened up the pic .
I purchased these Blue Birds on eBay .
I love vintage soda bottles . This is actually new from Cracker Barrel.
I had a July 4th party for my grandkids last Sunday , because some were at the beach on the 4th. Here are some cracker party favors I made .
So glad you stopped by today .
Love & Blessings,
~Myrna
So cute Myrna. Been awhihle since I've stopped by and visited, my bad!! Love all your red, white, and blue stuff!! But my favorite are your faux cherries and soda pop bottle from Cracker Barrel. I'm gonna have to get one of those bottles! Take care. Love, Fran. XO
ReplyDeleteLovely reds! What a great grandmother you are. I'm sure your grandchildren make lots of fun memories with you. <3
ReplyDeleteThose bluebirds look just like the ones I see at one of the antique stores, and I'm just waiting for them to lower the price so that I can bring them home!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday,
Carol
You found plenty of nice reds to make a great post.
ReplyDeleteO how I wish your cloche were filled with REAL cherries--then I'd help myself to one (or two or three)!
ReplyDeleteGIVE ME RED RIBBON
Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
Not yellow or purple or green;
But burgundy, chestnut, carmine or rose—
These are the colors with sheen!
Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
Not saffron or opal or blue;
But fuchsia, magenta, ruby or blush—
Something of sanguinous hue!
Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
Not indigo, azure or grey;
But scarlet, vermilion, dahlia or pink—
Colors like these make my day!

I wish we had a Cracker Barrel in our parts - I would go crazy with the country gift store! Your reds are fab!
ReplyDeleteHi Myrna, How fun to read all your sweet adventures with your grandkids - full of fun family memories. I especially enjoyed those cute and easy crafts - perfect for grand kids AND seniors - my favorite kind. Thanks for a lovely visit for Rednesday :)
ReplyDeleteLove your favors mind if I use your idea?
ReplyDeleteLOVE those cracker party favors you made!!.. And the coffee filter wreath too! (Gotta try making one, one of these days!)... Love the blue birds! Are they salt-n-pepper shakers? So CUTE!.. Have a great day, keep cool, and whatever you're doing, enjoy! ~tina
ReplyDeleteHi Tina,
ReplyDeleteThey are salt & pepper shakers , I neglected to mention it in my post . They originally squeaked when they were shaken but that is not working on these .
You have a great day ,too. 8~)
What a fun-filled post Myrna.
ReplyDeleteI see you are having a baby shower too and by golly I'd be there if I lived near you!
Those S & P shakers are so darn cute! On Sunday I'm going to a garage sale at a 1950's home and I can hardly wait!
Raining and cold here in Washington..in the 60's. We have not even started our summer yet and were a little bummed out up here. I'm going to a Party Lite party tonight at my daughters and I think I'll buy autumn candles! Smile.
Thanks for visiting me on FB too! Love you much and covering you in prayer.
