It's time for some more Reds

Hi everybody! My reds are from around the house today . First I have a cloche filled with faux cherries.
Here is a coffee filter wreath I made with some red in the middle ,which is not very noticeable, because I whitened up the pic .

Here is a craft I did with the grandkids for the 4th .

I purchased these Blue Birds on eBay .

I love vintage soda bottles . This is actually new from Cracker Barrel.

I had a July 4th party for my grandkids last Sunday , because some were at the beach on the 4th. Here are some cracker party favors I made .

We had the Wacky Olyimpics .Here is the Award designed by one of my Grand daughters .

So glad you stopped by today .

Love & Blessings,
~Myrna

  3. Those bluebirds look just like the ones I see at one of the antique stores, and I'm just waiting for them to lower the price so that I can bring them home!
    Happy REDnesday,

  5. O how I wish your cloche were filled with REAL cherries--then I'd help myself to one (or two or three)!

    GIVE ME RED RIBBON

    Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
    Not yellow or purple or green;
    But burgundy, chestnut, carmine or rose—
    These are the colors with sheen!

    Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
    Not saffron or opal or blue;
    But fuchsia, magenta, ruby or blush—
    Something of sanguinous hue!

    Give me red ribbon to tie in my hair,
    Not indigo, azure or grey;
    But scarlet, vermilion, dahlia or pink—
    Colors like these make my day!

  9. Hi Tina,
    They are salt & pepper shakers , I neglected to mention it in my post . They originally squeaked when they were shaken but that is not working on these .
    You have a great day ,too. 8~)

  10. What a fun-filled post Myrna.

    I see you are having a baby shower too and by golly I'd be there if I lived near you!

    Those S & P shakers are so darn cute! On Sunday I'm going to a garage sale at a 1950's home and I can hardly wait!

    Raining and cold here in Washington..in the 60's. We have not even started our summer yet and were a little bummed out up here. I'm going to a Party Lite party tonight at my daughters and I think I'll buy autumn candles! Smile.

    Thanks for visiting me on FB too! Love you much and covering you in prayer.
