Road Trip to Old Salem , NC Part 1


Hello Friends,
I hope you are enjoying this new Monday! I have Part 1  pics of my road trip to Old Salem, NC.First I have these pics of the beautiful sky as I start my journey.

I love gardening and Gardens , I think it is because God's first choice for our home was in a Garden .I will leave you with this wonderful verse form the Bible .

    What a delightful post. I enjoyed toddling around with you from house to house in this quaint villge...set back in time. I lved in East Tennessee and visited NC many times...but, never was able to visit Old Salem.

  12. Hi Myrna, I had a nice visit here today, enjoying the lovely photos. I was in Hawaii this summer and did a whole site full of pictures. We visited the Mission Houses in Oahu were the first printing press there produced written language for the Hawaiian people. I believe the parts from the homes came from Mass, by way of So America.

  36. I'm trying to decide which picture is most interesting. Mission impossible. I've never heard of old Salem before, so I naturally found all pictures most interesting.
    When closing my eyes, I see the young girl with cotton basket sitting close to the patchwork carpet,and yes, that's definitely my favorite. The scene is so vivid, yet peaceful, I'd like to walk in and sit down beside her.
    I'm looking forwards to next half of the Salem report.
