Visit to a Garden Center & More

Hello Blogging Friends! Well, it's just about time to celebrate Independence Day, I know a lot of people are already off on their 4th of July vacations.  I stay at home for the 4th,it's always too Hot & too Crowded for me . I prefer the Spring and the Fall.I think those times of the year are what an ideal summer 's weather would be . lol

Here are my new First of the Month Pics , as always featuring my Kitchen Table & My Front Yard. Today my kitchen table is of course decorated for the 4th,  its's reminiscent of a southern July 4th picnic. I join Murrieta 365 for this photo challenge every month.

Firefly in a jar.

Summer Flowers

Yep, I do live in an enchanted Forest.I  love my two vintage metal bounce chairs. This my July First of the Month pic. With it being 105 degrees  and all these trees , which use tremendous amounts of water , my yard quickly becomes like a desert .

Well, just as the temperature roars ,I am off to the Garden center to buy plants . I did not plan for the two to coincide . But I did see some wonderful flowers& things.

These wave petunias smell as good as they look.

An ocean of Zinnias.

I wish you a very

 of July!

I will leave you with this wonderful verse from Romans 8:

"There is therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,For the the law of the Spirit of Life has set us free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death."

Now that is something to celebrate!

  1. I love all the colorful flowers, Myrna. We don't have many flowers that are doing very well here because of the heat. Happy 4th of July to you!

  2. I would love to be sitting in one of those chairs enjoying all the surrounding beauty. I love your kitchen table for the 4th of July. The petunias and the zinnias are gorgeous. I feel the same way as you do about the weather. Spring and Fall and lots of rain year round would be my dream come true.

  25. Thank you for the Verse, I love it when I can do a little blog hopping and still read a Bible verse or two! I usually am not a big 4th celebrator, but this year we have access to a pool and I am really enjoying the swim time. We will be swimming to celebrate!

  26. I love your 4th of July presentation, ad I share your joy.
Every year I buy heaps of petunias. They are so colorful, and besides my enemy, the big brown snail doesn't attack it.
I'd like a relaxing visit in your enchanted wood and the sound of chuckling fountains.
