Hi Friends,
I hope you had a very Happy New Year! We had a wonderful start to the year, we spent it with family on New Year's Eve . We watched the Acorn drop on our local TV station . It's an acorn around here , what does your locality do? I'm sure there are different spins on the ball drop everywhere . lol
But, before that, last Thursday we drove to" The Meadow Lights" near Benson , NC to view the beautiful Light display .
We played a new board game , sang some silly songs & had a ball posing with these silly photo props I printed from the internet .
I am joining :

I will leave you with this wonderful promise from Jesus in John 14: 27. My 13 yr.old granddaughter has it on her New Year's Blog post , it's her favorite verse.. I have adopted it for my New Year's verse also.
"Peace I leave with you ; my peace I give you . I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid . "

Here in GA we have the Peach Drop...although I heard some town here in GA was having an opossum drop. I didn't ask. I didn't want to know. I mean won't that give Georgians a bad name?
