Children are a Gift from God- Sanctity of Life Sunday

Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above.............. James 1:17

During this past week I have been making paper snowflakes. As I made each snowflake , I have been praying for the unborn. Each snowflake has reminded me of how each child is special and unique . A work of art created in God's image and greatly valued by him . In His word, it says:

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

Psalm 139 :13-16

  7. My mother always said...does God not paint beautiful? His creations cannot be copied.
    He has been so good to us. His love is so faithful to us.

    Thinking of you with a very peaceful heart tonight. I pray for Gods protection over you and all those you love.

    Night night dear heart,
    Jacqueline

  16. When I was expecting my last child I was offered an abortion by my doctor. Her numbers were positive for Downs Syndrome. Our Emily is 19 and a senior with a 97+ average. Would we have loved her with Downs? Yes, yes, yes. Life IS sacred. And as you so poignantly showed us with the snowflakes, the uniqueness of each child is as beautiful as the next.

  18. Hi Myrna Lee,

    I was deeply moved watching this video of Gianna Jessen; she has such a powerful testimony on the validity of life.

    We are all unique and yet we are all loved uniquely by God; he values each of us. Should we follow the leading of God and value those whom society and the courts deem unworthy of existing? Yes!

    Thank you so much for this powerful reminder.

    Blessings and peace.
