My reds for today are very eclectic.First I have these red-topped mushrooms around the gnomes cottage I happened upon in my yard .I hope my spying didn't disturb the gnomes.

Next, I would like to share this red-checked apron , I bought in a" lot "of vintage aprons on Ebay recently.

To end off , this unusual little red & white mini car I sighted , when I was out & about in Wake Forest , NC last week. I was driving,so my daughter, Angel snapped this pic for me . Does anybody know what make this car is ?

Thanks so much for stopping by , I hope these reds made you smile , just a little . ;~)

"And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life's span?So if you can't do a small thing like that, why worry about other things?"Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Luke 12:25-27

SPIRITUAL SUNDAY

Happy 4th 0f July !

Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the world, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day [the Fourth of July]?" “Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the Gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer's mission upon earth? That it laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity"?
John Quincy Adams--1837, at the age of 69, when he delivered a Fourth of July speech at Newburyport, Massachusetts.
