My Tea Party is a Family affair . Here I am with my three granddaughters , Trinity is Alice,Jasmine is the Cheshire Cat.Shauna and myself as two different interpretations of the Queen of Hearts .

Here are some decorations for the party.

I decorated a tent in the style of Disney's animated AIW ,on the deck off the family room, for a Tea Party . The Girls loved it .

Later , They strolled out past the roses & flamingos to play a game of Croquet . It was a wonderful day of Family Fun !

This Friday June 26 is The day of "The Mad Tea Party" Hosted by Vanessa over at A Fanciful Twist . My reds today are a preview of my Mad tea Party .

This display of faux cupcakes & red drink are a sneak preview .You will notice the red tape on the cork . I knew the first thing one my granddaughters would do , is turn that bottle up & pretend to drink it and get red colored water all over them .

Next, I made this red & pink Heart Apron , inspired by the The Queen of Hearts .



Here is a close -up of the material . It also has white & blue in the design . This was doing to be part of my costume at my party , but it was not ready at that time so I wore another apron .

Sin does not produce any fruit of holiness,whereas sickness does . Do not look upon sickness or pain as something terrible . In whose hand is the knife ? Remember it is in God's hand . Why should we be anxious over infirmity as if it were in the hand of the enemy ? Without God's permission Satan can make no one sick . All infirmities are measured to us by God for the sake of the enrichment they can bring ."

The first red I have today is this red daylily from my garden .I know it looks more orange than red , but for daylilies , this is considered a red .

My next two reds are buys from Ebay . The first is this Shirley Temple Doll with her red polka dots on white dress & red shoes . I have always wanted a ST doll , I got a good deal on this one .

Finally , This sweet vintage red & pink fruit design table cloth . It is a small size , but I still love it .

BLUE MONDAY

Today for Blue Monday , my first two pics are of this cool blue monogrammed umbrella I won from Diane 's give-away over at Pittypat Paperie. You can visit Diane's wonderful & interesting blog by clicking HERE.







The next two pics are of some great Good Will Finds. The first one is the blue collar, the blue dress & the blue eyes of this Storybook Doll, I found for $1.00.I had several similar dolls when I young , but I did not keep them .




Finally I found this nifty picnic basket for about 5 bucks ,& it still had these cute blue trimmed plates inside , the other accessories were gone .I will enjoy it this summer.

Today I have some pics from the Rain Forest Cafe in Orlando, Fla. It has a fantasy Rain Forest atmosphere . I love the rain storm that occurs every 30 minutes . The food is overpriced , but I guess that is part of paying for the experience .


This is a pic of the outside of the restaurant. Here is the red sign & giant red mushrooms.



Beware of crocs as you enter . Looks like a lot of folks are making a wish on a crocodile, I wonder how that works out .




Also, watch out for the many wild animals & snakes in the trees .I think I see a red exit sign in this pic . Let's hope you don't need to make a quick exit if a Gorilla gets after you .lol



The butterflies grow large in this forest . I see some red on the Parrot in the tree.



Here is Tracy, the talking tree. She is located in the store portion of the restaurant. In the background you can see the Red Kids Cave Sign . This is a shopping area for kids .
