Mermaid Tales

Hello Blogging Friends,

While I was last at the beach , I came across this deserted sand castle.

A little further down the beach , I happened upon this little mermaid that had washed ashore and had just grown legs for her visit to land .

While at the Christmas House in South Port, NC,I came upon this beautiful white mermaid .

When I arrived home ,I sighted this little mermaid in my bathroom , one I had bought in a shop on a previous visit to South Port, NC.

I love this vintage mermaid that I found at a GW in Wake Forest ,NC

Here are mermaid Christmas Ornaments , My granddaughter and I made when we returned from the beach . The directions can be found at Disney Family Fun.

I hope you enjoyed my recent mermaid sightings.

The Christmas House

Hi Blogging Friends ,

Last week we went to Carolina Beach on a late summer vacation . It was beautiful there . We took the ferry across the Cape Fear River to do some shopping in South Port, NC.
Here is a shot of the sunset reflecting across the river on the trip back on the ferry .

While in South Port , we visited the Christmas House .

At the Christmas House ,it's Christmas all year . They have wonderful things for sale!

They have all kinds of old fashioned candy .

There are old fashioned toys and lots of fairies & mermaids .

Santa will greet you when you walk in .

Upstairs you will see this jolly scene , along with lots of other wonderful sights .

I loved visiting the Christmas House ! :)

There was lots more to see that I didn't take pics of everything .I do have some of their Beach themed Christmas decor , I'll post later. Thanks for stopping by !

Remembering 911

The Cross of Christ is the only hope for the World . Our constant danger is that we cry, Behold this new opportunity, Behold our new methods, Behold our human brotherhood and forget to cry ---------BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD !

Labor Day Holiday

Hello Friends,
Over the Labor Day Holiday we finished off a Vacation Bible School I was doing with my granddaughters . It was free from the website Ministry-To-Children. The theme was the Fruit of the Spirit Gal.5 : 16-26 ,which is : Love , Joy,Peace,Patience,Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness,& Self-Control.

We planted Herbs to grow on the window sill.

This was a craft , every lesson we collected the seeds of the fruit , in the end they completed this flower poster.

Refreshments: Fruit of the Spirit salad;

And Fruit of the Spirit cupcakes.

They had fun playing games .

Comment Problems

Hi Blogger Friends,
It has come to my attention that there are problems with posting comments here at My Enchanted Home . I am so sorry about this annoying inconvenience .

I have looked into it on the forums at Blogger and here are some suggestions to help below:

You have a problem with authentication, and cookie filtering. First, try a different login procedure.
1. Login to Blogger using "www.blogger.com".
2. Do not check "Remember me".

If that does not help, try a second time..
1. Clear cache, cookies, and sessions (not just cache or cookies) - then restart the browser.
2. Login to Blogger using "www.blogger.com".
3. Do not check "Remember me".

Alternatively, enable "third party cookies". That's the best solution, overall.

Also, some had stated that there seems to be a problem using Safari on Blogger , and that Google Chrome seems to work best. Please leave suggestions for anything I can do as publisher of my blog to help. If you can't leave a comment, please email me( daylily777@gmail.com) & let me know.I am praying & working for a solution to this problem .
Love to you all,
~Myrna
